Felt is the oldest form of textile in the world, but now it's all over again.

The process can be called magical; of the beautiful shorn coats of the merino sheep is processed by means of rubbing and soap made a rag.

This form of textile production can be found in all cultures and through all times.

From nomadic tents (yurts) to medieval clothing as protection against arrows, those thin woolen threads can become super strong when felted and therefore perfectly usable in everyday life.

A seemingly simple craft, which is carried out for Zenza by a women's project in Nepal to our own design.

The women in rural Nepal earn an income in a place where there are so few opportunities for women.

Extremely strong and wonderfully cuddly soft cushions are the result, wonderful to combine with each other.
